Avoid Those Back-to-School Cooties!
Hey Kids! Going back to school is a busy time, and it's always good to get with friends you may not have seen since school closed. But doesn't it always seem like people start to get sick almost as soon as school starts up again? We know the reasons for this by names such as "germs" or "cooties".
People come from all over to go to school, they may have even recently traveled on vacation. Each boy or girl brings with them whatever germs or bugs they have been exposed to along the way. It is no wonder the start of the school year often means people are more likely to get sick.

What would happen if you had a medical emergency but were unable to tell the responders anything? Perhaps a neighbor or relative could speak for you, but they aren't always available. When a Campion Ambulance crew responds to a medical emergency, they are trained to get as much information as possible about a patient's conditions, diagnoses, recent surgeries and medications. Unfortunately, this information is not always available, or the patient's condition requires immediate action, which does not leave much time to gather up this important information.
